Apparently his mechanics dont use trolley jacks or crawl under cars??
My car got diag from RAC breakdown mechanic using a trolley jack to temp fix, with advisory to get clearly identified part replaced
Tried to get MAT to take quick look - £69.50 to put on a ramp!!
Obviously decided to go elsewhere
German Car Specialists quickly put onto ramp - quicker than the 30 minute wait time initially quoted
Came back to me within 2 minutes with part number i needed to order clearly written down for me on a piece of paper.
£Zero cost so far and the job is a 30-60 minute linkage replacement. Prefer to be car-less for a couple of days rather than using MAT should say it all if you are looking to have any transmission work done.
